Plain-English version of how the site makes money.
When you request quotes and we match you with installers, those installers (or a lead-network partner) pay SolarInstallers.io a referral fee. This is our main revenue. It does not change the price an installer quotes you, and it does not decide which installers you're matched with beyond our vetting criteria and your location and project type.
Some outbound links — solar loans, home batteries, EV chargers, electricity-plan comparison — are affiliate links marked rel="sponsored". If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only list options relevant to solar households.
If display advertising appears, it is secondary and must not interfere with the tools or the quote process. We do not design the site around ad revenue.
Calculator methodology, editorial content, the directory's "not yet verified" labeling, and our refusal to publish fake reviews or "best installer" claims are not for sale. See the editorial policy.
