What to check before you sign

Confirm the all-in price per watt and exactly which dealer/financing fees are inside it.
Get the panel and inverter brand and model in writing — a cheap quote on unknown equipment isn't a bargain.
Ask for the year-1 production guarantee and how a shortfall is compensated.
Check the workmanship warranty length and whether it survives if the company is acquired.
For a loan, ask for the cash price too — the gap is the dealer fee.
